German developer crytek has done it again. After releasing far cry for PC in 2004, the developer takes its place among other visual masters such as ubisoft. Their new found fame pushed electronic arts to offer crytek a partnership that allowed them to produce a visually impressive 1st person shooter game: Crysis. The story involves aliens, the north Korean military & the u.s military.

Through the game we see a conflict develop through this triad of groups. Depending on what groups are conflicting with eachother the environments dramatically change. This gives amazing depth and contrast to the game. This sci-fi story will prove to be interesting. Though the release date are still unknown, Crysis will surley take its place among other 1st person shooters such as halo and doom.

How to cure vampirism in Oblivion

The easiest way to cure vampirism is once you have contracted Hemophilla (Vampire disease) go to a local church and pray at the alter for a cure (seriously). If you have been sick for more than 3 game days you will be a vampire. There are a few pros to being a vampire. One of the best benefits is a great strength, also you have add bonuses and spells. The biggest draw back is the sun begins to harm you and it forces you to walk at night.

Another draw back is people and merchants will refuse you service in your vampire form. The way to lessen the effects is to feed on sleeping NPCs. The best place to find sleeping NPCs is at the stables of any town. There is usually a farm hand
asleep on the outside of the stable. Make sure you access that area after 11 pm. Now that you know how to contract,treat, and live with the disease lets talk about the cure.

Once you are a vampire you need to go to the church and talk with someone at the alter. They will send you on a whirlwind tour across the country talking to different people. You will end up at a old woman's house named Draklowe. She will make you a potion, but first she will need a few ingredients. First, she will need 5 Grand Soul Gems. This part of your journey will take you the longest but, with the help of this guide I can save you a few hours. The Five places I have found Grand Soul Gems:

1)Dungeon of Miscarcand (to the west of Skingard)
2)Squardered Mine (next to Draklowe)
3)Imperial Market (Not sure which Vendor)
4)Leyawjjn (Mages Guild)
5)Bravil (Mages Guild)

Once you have the 5 Grand Soul Gems take them to Darklowe and she will give you the next part of the quest. You will need 6 cloves of Garlic, 5 Nightshade leaves and 2 Shoots of BloodGrass. You will also, need the blood of a Argonian and Vampire ashes form a Vampire named Hindaril. All of the ingredients can be found at various mage guilds and markets. The blood of a Argonian is pretty easy (there are the lizard people). There is a bum Argonian wandering around the city of Leyawjjn poke him with the dagger and you good to go. The last piece of the cure is you need to kill a powerful vampire. Darklowe will give you the exact locaction of Hindaril. The history of the video game does not go back for centuries, but it goes back farther than you may have imagined. The earliest ancestor of the game we play today is a game called “Tennis for Two” that was introduced by inventor John Higginbotham back in 1958. This video game consisted of a horizontal line across the screen with a short perpendicular line to represent the net. In the 1960’s the first interactive video game called Spacewar was invented and then the first game that was played using a television. Then, in the early 1970’s the first video arcade game called “Computer Space” was introduced. Then in the mid1970’s a new little company called Atari came out with a game known as “Pong” that people could play at home. The first two copyrighted video game products were sold in 1980 by Atari. We’ve come far in the past 26 years or so.

Now there are thousands of games on the market and a number of game systems as well. They keep improving the features and the products. You can even download games to play on your cell phone or play a video game on your watch. You can have a game with 3-D graphics, amazing sound quality and realistic movements. The Playstation 2, the X-Box, and the Game Cube are some of the bigger names in the industry. The new Playstation 3 is creating a buzz with its ability to burn DVDs.

There are some concerns associated with the explosion of the video game industry. Children are more obese and less active than ever before and some feel that these games are partially to blame. Microsoft's Xbox 360 vs the Sony's Playstation 3

Microsoft has tried to catch up with some of the titans of the gaming world, such as Sony with the release of the Xbox 360.  The Xbox 360 offers many new features that players will love:

• Xbox 360 has a wireless controller.  No more tripping over the wires, although it can support two wired controllers through USB ports in the front.
  
• The game console is not only great for gamers, but developers as well.  It is a powerful machine with an unprecedented amount of RAM – a feature added on the request of developers.

But, Xbox 360 still has some problems that need to be worked out:

• Their Japanese third party support is lacking – While some Japanese developers offer software for the Xbox, it is small in number when compared to what the same developers offer for Playstation. 
  
• While the controller is wireless, it eats batteries rather quickly.  Standard alkaline batteries only last about thirty hours, so if you buy Xbox 360, invest in rechargeable batteries to save yourself some money in the end.
  
• When they were set up in WalMart stores before days before the launch, many suffered what is known as the Xbox “360 screen of death,” an error screen.  The Xbox 360 had also had some problems with overheating.
  
• Some report the Xbox 360 system as being very noisy when playing an Xbox 360 disc.

Many people are eagerly awaiting the release of Playstation 3, which may occur as soon as November of this year.  It has been said that the Playstation 3 has an outward feel (which allows it to stand vertically or horizontally on its own), as opposed to the Xbox 360’s inward feel.  It is a much larger console than the Playstation 2 and closer to the original size of the Xbox.  Game discs slide into the console like CDs slide into a car player.  Here are a few attractive features of the Playstation 3:

• It is always on, so you can access your Playstation 3 from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. 
  
• With a Playstation Portable, you can connect to your Playstation 3 and transfer media such as music and movies.
  
• The Playstation 3 appears to be much more powerful than that Xbox 360, Ninetindo Revolution, and Playstation 2.  Initial reports say it will be twice as fast as the Xbox 360.
  
• Developers and publishers of over 230 games have announced titles for Playstation 3 games.

Here are a few reported cons and problems with the Playstation 360:

• Comes with only 256 MB, less than the 512 MB the Xbox 360 will come with.
  
• Their Playstation Network Platform (the online service) is still in development and may not be ready by the time Playstation 3 is released.
  
• The launch of the Playstation 3 has already been delayed due to disk problems.

Both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are incredible gaming consoles.  It seems that although the Xbox 360 came out first, the best bet is still the Playstation 3.  The strongest point of the Xbox 360 is its online functionality, but Sony may be working on something similar to Xbox Live right now.  However, Microsoft is closing the gap with Xbox 360 and probably will eventually catch up with Sony in gaming consoles.  For some users, it may come down to something as simple as which one is more compatible with the games they already own.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

Ethan Thomas, who is on the trail of a serial killer. This game has some of the most viscous most amazing hand to hand combat. You explore these condemned atmospheres, not only with random weapons picked up from the environment, but also your forensic tools to investigate. When fighting psycho killers one will notice the impeccable A.I placed in all of the characters. These characters will do as much as even through some trick punches to fake you out when you are trying to block or hit.

The only problem with the actual game play is the lack of tricks and options. There is about 10 hours of game play but in only like 2 hours you can reveal all of the tricks and graphics that the game has to offer. This may make for some very monotonous gamming after only the first hour in a half or so. The forensic tools are yet another great feature of the game it’s like watching your favorite investigation show. All you do is stand above the point of investigation and then pick the correct forensic tool and then begin investigation. This makes the tools you have become very interactive. You will be all hand on when it comes to using the tools provided. After using the tools you will call using your cell phone to headquarters. From phone calls you will gain more background info about the game. This will help change the game up so it doesn’t become so monotonous after an hour or two.


(guns and stuff) When it comes to the weapons you will be doing a lot of melee fighting and most of the weapons will be coming from the environment, such as broken pipes from the walls, axes or 2 x 4’s with nails in it found on the ground. If you find any guns there are only a few shots left in them so you shoot a few times then drop that weapon then grab another weapon in the surrounding area.

The only thing that critics really had to say about this game that was bad was the problem with the non contrasting environments. What I had to say with that was this game is based on a dark intense filled world. I think the environments looked absolutely awesome for this theme. You can’t really get much more contrast with environments or levels with this specific theme. This game is definitely going to be a good buy for the next-gen gamming experience.
